Out With the Old…

I’m sure you gave up on following Style Cakes a long time ago because you thought I fell off the face of the earth.  Well have no fear, I’m still alive and kickin’, working hard on a brand new project!  The Elizabeth Chronicles is my newest blog that I have co-founded with a very close friend of mine, Rachel Adams.  We are taking our love of fashion and passion for the industry and documenting all of it!

So at last I must say farewell

Time Flies

S’mores Pie!

So I’ve finally had a chance to whip up the S’mores pie I shrared with yall a few weeks ago and it was soo easy! I tweeked the recipe a little and made it even easier for myself by using a store bought pie crust. I also changed it up by using these cute little personal sized pie crusts; they make for the perfect serving when you need a little sweet treat in your life

Here is Rachael Ray’s version of the S’mores Pie….yes hers looks better, but I’m sure mine tasted just as goooood!

Missoni for Target

So if you underestimated the Missoni for Target craze like me then you are probably familiar with the sinking feeling of disappointment at this very moment.  By the time I made it, everything had been picked over and about all that was left was the signage….womp wooommmppp!

As I was walking around the store hoping to come across a secret stash somewhere I came across a lonely laptop case sitting amongst the random assortment of Missoni dish ware.

Boy did I feel lucky!  It was the last one in the store and I was definitely in need of one!

Since I won’t be starting the fall off with my new Missoni duds I’m living vicariously through Chiara of The Blonde SaladSo jealous!!
